5 November was Farewell 09! I can't remember every single detail about it, but will talk about stuff I remember best. What I remember most is that the Sec 3s have put in a lot of effort to plan for it and kudos to them!!
I remembered...
. It was a splendid cake with the Thinking Day company photo on the cake and the Sec 4s were all high-ing and singing songs before we cut the cake. Oh yes everyone was trying to find their own face! I found mine, but I couldn't bear to eat myself. In the end I've no idea whose tummy it went into, haha.
and 'catwalk'. Like previous years, the seniors had to do a dress-up and this year, we had to dress up in PJs/oversized tees to look like aliens in outer space. Somehow I ended up with a super oversized shirt and a cute hairband that looks like a cactus, or (in my sister's opinion), the devil sign, haha. Oh yes, my shirt had a tail dangling at the back, I wonder if anyone noticed that. I paired up with June for the catwalk and I think we were more like kangaroos than Sec 4 models! We just jumped on two legs into the conf. rooms and smiled for the camera :D After sitting down, I realised that the conference room was really nicely decorated! The sec 3s were so innovative and used Christmas lights to pave out the catwalk runway. I thought it looked really pretty :)
. Especially the Sec 1s', they pulled off the act for some people (Hannah did Lingxin really well) and although some portrayals might not be 100% accurate, it was a good effort. The Sec 1 who did Kakay was not bad too, haha. They know so much about us O: Come to think of it, I barely knew my Sec 4s when I was in Sec 1 ): The Sec 3s sang a song read a message out to us and Huimin did a good job. Although only half the Sec 2s could make it for farewell, their photo montage was nice too and we appreciate it :)
. It was really sad, and I will miss every single batchmate and junior ):
. There's so much I want to say, but just to keep it short and sweet, I'd really like to thank Nanyang Guides for all the memories :)

So many things have happened the past month!
Graduation day felt weird. I didn't feel as sad as I felt 2 years back, but definitely weird. Our class didn't have any heart-to-heart talk with the teachers or with our classmates, unlike other classes, but I think in our hearts, we'll miss each other quite badly.
402 wasn't an outstanding class and I thought we were quite an ordinary class. We didn't aim to win awards or anything, and our class spirit might not be 100%, but I think we still had fun together (: especially during funfair, it's quite funny how our test tube babies sold so well in Sec 3 but in Sec 4, no one patronized our games stall. Anyway, we still had truckloads of fun at the outdoor basketball court and I can still remember us throwing water bombs at each other and laughing together. The classmates made up a big part of 302 '08/402 '09. I made new friends (Rachel K, first new friend!) and laughed a lot these two years with the funnypeople (Jun Ying! etc.) always saying random comments during lessons. When EOYs were round the corner, there were times when the class entered studying mood; during breaks, people in class would be quiet, doing their own revision. It was kind of scary, but that's my class (:
212 meant (and still means) the world to me, but I think I've said everything I wanted to say about this special class. (refer to my blog posts 2 years back to get the whole picture!) I still have a strong attachment to my Sec 1/2 class. To sum it all up, 212 and 402 made my secondary school life really memorable :D
Graduation day seemed like a normal day to my class, except that some of us were going around asking classmates to sign/leave messages in our Grad Mags. Linh and Lien got their extra hongzis and asked us to sign on it! It's so cool, signing on hongzis :D Oh yes, Level Closure made me a little emotional and sad after hearing all the teachers bidding their farewell to us. I almost cried after hearing Ms Teo's message because it reminded me of 212 and Romeo and Juliet and TKAM and everything else. LA lessons in lower sec were much more fun for me (:

Junying writing on Lien's hongzi!
Mr Tan KC came back during Grad Ceremony! He lost weight, but looks pretty much the same :) it was great to see him again. Grad Ceremony was quite long and draggy, but I don't think I'll forget the time when I stood on stage for 2 minutes smiling :)

Mr Eric Tan, Ms Ang and us!

402, Two Good Two Be True
After everything, it just feels weird. These 4 years just seemed to have passed by in a blur. Time flew by too fast, I wished it slowed down for a bit at certain times... I'm looking forward to JC, but I can't bear to leave NY. I've had the best time of my life in NY and it's just so sad that we have to leave the school ): Sigh, I guess we just have to accept the fact that we've Graduated (I haven't, but I hope I do soon!) and
move on.
I still have so so so many things to talk about, and here's the list of what went on in my life for the past month or so:
1. Farewell
2. Graduation (covered in this post!)
3. Higher Chinese O Levels
4. AP Summit
5. GCP - Local Adventure
6. PGA Award Presentation
I'll try to update on the above once I have time and when I have the sudden urge to blog! (:

I'm finally posting after 2 weeks! I'm really glad EOYs are over cos I won't need to struggle and stop myself from watching TV and playing anymore. Okay not exactly, because there's still Chinese O Levels. It's kind of weird stopping your study engine and then having to start it up again for Higher Chinese, and it's really tough. It's just like running 2.4km. When you stop halfway, it's really hard for you to start jogging again. ):
The EOY period was a tough period... I took very long to digest information, especially for Bio. Luckily there were snacks and some light entertainment to keep me going, if not... I would just have collapsed under all the studying and information. Exams were stretched over 4 weeks or so, but I thought that 4 weeks is really too long!
Life after EOYs actually hasn't been as relaxing as I thought. Rather, it has been more of being very bored at home than having a blast celebrating after the exams. Actually, I have a list of things to do after the EOYs, but somehow I can't find the motivation to do those things. Oh, I feel a lot like going to Settler's Cafe or Pit-Stop cafe or Minds Cafe to play board games, but I don't have the time to go there now ): Do you know that there's a new version of Pictionary called Pictionary Singapore! :D i can't wait to play that version, they have words like 'ah-bu-then' and 'fine' and even 'Zoe Tay', all the Singapore slangs! The board games cafe will be a nice place for an outing :D
To me, school is getting a little boring, because we have Chinese lessons almost everyday. Yeah, it's all for our own good, but it can get dreary. We don't have inter-class games this year! D: I was hoping there would be soccer or something, at least an activity for us to sweat and have fun. At least picking litter at the beach last year was fun, cos it helped in class bonding and it's for a good cause too :)
Sigh, we don't have much time left in school. Just one more measly week. I hope we can treasure the remaining time spent with our classmates and friends, because we'll be splitting classes next year ): I'll miss 402, but frankly speaking, not as much as I miss 212. I think the 2 classes are really different, but I definitely enjoyed being in these 2 classes :) It still hasn't hit me that it's the last week of school, but I guess slowly... it'll hit me. Farewell is this Thursday, I don't know how it's going to be like, seriously! I don't want to feel sad ):
Company Party yesterday was so so so last-minute yet I thought it was fun! and crazy, with the 2 ponytails and toddler photos and just having a blast :D yay xiaoen yes we rock hahaha!
Okay time for dinner, and
I'm not very sure when the next post will be! Bye :D

I really feel like just plonking onto my bed and falling asleep, and sleep all the way till tomorrow morning. Or sit in front of the television and be entertained for the next 2 hours, then go to bed. Ahh, I just want to get away from the notes and textbooks and practice papers! Physics seems so tough suddenly and I can't understand the answers to the practice papers.
REALLY CAN'T WAIT FOR WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON TO COME. Then finally, for the first time, I can sit down on the sofa in front of the TV and watch the whole of Singapore Idol in peace :D and not needing to watch the recorded version during mealtimes! That, plus the many other things that's on the 'Stuff After EOYS' list, shall be motivation!
TWO. MORE. DAYS :)
p.s. I'll miss Nanyang
a lot after graduation! and it's only about 2 weeks to graduation ): ): And I can't wait to see how the Grad Mag turns out to be like. I really hope it'll be nice :]
Lastly, the last official school day of Secondary 4 students in other schools was two weeks ago and now they're really studying hard for O Levels. Shin told me that her school even has night study! It must be tough for them, much tougher than what we're going through now... All the best to them! :)

Here's what I saw when I went to the Marina Barrage a few weeks ago. The Singapore skyline is spectacular! The area at the base of the flyer is very brightly lit up because of F1 :D (oh i feel like watching F1 next year!)
Cousins playing with/lighting candles.
My brother playing with the sparklers. I love the sparklers, they look very magical. Oh I heard that there is going to be a Harry Potter theme park! so excitinggg!! But it's probably going to cost a bomb to go there ):

Sean and Melissa!
Okay revision time ):
